Pinterest Challenge : Yankee Candle Tealight Holders

tealight holder

Hi everyone,

I have another Pinterest challenge for you this weekend, where I browse through Pinterest and try to re-create the project.   This week I picked another envelope punch board tutorial, this particular one if a tiny box for a yankee candle tealight.

I have recorded a video over on youtube for this, like last weekend, so all project credits and products used are available over there as well as listed further down the blog post

These little boxes would make perfect wedding favours, and you could tailor them to your wedding colour scheme no problem at all.

Pinterest Challenge : Envelope Punch Board Bows

Hi Everyone…

Today I challenged myself to make something from Pinterest, just to see if it “works for me” ..  so I chose to make some pretty bows using the envelope punch board by We R Memory Keepers… and guess what? they worked :-) yay!!

Bows 1

So easy to make too!   I also recorded a video of me making them, which you can view here

bows 2

All that you will need is 3 pieces of patterned paper…

  • 1 x 6″ x 1″
  • 1 x 3″ x 1″
  • 1 x 1/4″ x 1″
  • and an envelope punch board.

I plan on making a few more, some with the edges inked and some with the edges scuffed just to see how they compare, and also to incorporate them onto a card

I love how they turned out … and can’t wait to try something else from Pinterest to challenge myself

As always, thanks so much for popping round

A Little Kindness goes a long way…

Hi Everyone..

It is a beautiful sunny spring day here today, and I have been out and about… I went to a craft fair, and bought loads of yummy new cardstock,  then to a lovely wee farm shop with lambs, chicks and piglets :)

Last week my friend Clare (Gotpaintinmyhair) threw down a challenge kick start me back into crafting again, as many of you may have noticed, I have not been around that much of late.     So I accepted her challenge and also threw it right back over to her to do exactly the same ;-) …. that’s only fair …… right?

So Clare’s challenge to me was to make a card for the Mojo Monday Challenge Blog, so that’s exactly what my blog post is about today :)   It is challenge 393 and the link to their blog is {{here}}
