Clear Christmas Tags

Hi everyone,

Today I have finally cracked open my fuse tool and made something with it…..Hurray! and  I got myself back into my shed again, I have not been up there for ages..

I made some clear Tags, shaker stylie~ish :)

I challenged Clare (Gotpaintinmyhair) to make 3 Christmas tags earlier today, and to record a video for Youtube and do a blogpost, and she challenged me to break out the fuse tool and make something with it.. so I made tags too

I used the Sizzix Scalloped Tag #2 Die for the tags and then used the We R Memory Keepers Fuse Tool to seal them together..

I also used the Clearly Besotted Stamps Merry window die and just chopped out the merry sentiment once it was diecut out of silver mirror cardstock.

I love how they turned out, I also have a youtube video available so you can see how they were made.

Hope you are all having a wonderful Sunday, see you soon (I hope) :)

Clean & Simple… Merry & Bright

Hi everyone,

Happy Sunday to you all!

The weather here today is absolutely miserable, it is a right old Winnie the Pooh day… blustery & wet

I have another Christmas card to share today, it is clean and simple and easy to mass produce, it’s mainly die cutting and assembling.

I used the following materials and tools to complete this card :-

  • Thick White cardstock card size is 5″x 5″
  • cuttlebug
  • Dienamics Star Stax Dies
  • Lil inker Designs Stitched Square Frames Die Set
  • Glitter Cardstock
  • and the Merry & Bright sentiment stamp from the Clearly Besotted Set the Scene stamp set
  • Versafine Onyx Black Ink
  • Double sided Dimensional adhesive tape plus a little bit of matte medium to help the tape stick to the glittered cardstock.

Until the next time, thanks for popping round

Hello everyone,

I have been absent again, and I must apologise…

For those of you who join me on my Ustream live shows or catch a Youtube video, will all be familiar with Chunky, my big springer spaniel boy, who likes to bark… he barks every time i’m in my shed and I think he has barked in just about everything I have recorded.

Well my big boy was diagnosed with Lymphoma and he is currently going through chemotherapy treatment, it sucks, and I am trying to remain positive and upbeat in the hope that he will be as tough as old boots and fight it like a trooper.  I will provide updates on his progress, as I know a lot of you are fond of wee puppy chunks :)

It is my plan to go up to my shed this weekend and record some video tutorials for clean and simple christmas cards, so keep an eye out for them this weekend…

Thanks for popping in

Merry Christmas Cards

Hi Everyone!

The thought run through my head today that I don’t make enough cards, and it is true.. I had a look back through my blog and it is sparse in the card department, so I intend to get back to my roots and make more of them…. starting today!

I got stuck into making Christmas cards, and I made a trio (all the same)

I want to make more in the coming weeks, then decide which one I like the best,  so I will hang off mass producing them until I choose my favourite :)

I did record a youtube video of this card being made too, which I will upload shortly

I used 3 x lovely distress inks for this card… Tumbled Glass, Weathered Wood and Broken China

The leaf die and the sentiment stamp are from Clearly Besotted Stamps, I also used some bazzill textured cardstock in a lovely blue colour as a mat between my layers

I hope you enjoyed today’s card, and I hope to be back with more cards very soon

Thanks for popping round
