Hi Everyone!

It is time for another new challenge over on at the Indigoblu Challenge Blog, this month the theme is “Christmas in July” I am so excited because you will get to see all the new Christmas release stamps :-)

My card this month is probably the biggest card I have made to date .. it is a whopping 8″ x 8″ I love how it turned out,  if you are looking for a special big Christmas card to send this year, then this new holly flourish stamp makes a lovely wreath and it is super quick and simple to make, plus there is very little dimension to the card, ideal for posting!

Wee Wooly Flower

Wee Wooly Flower.

wee wooly flower

Hi everyone!

How have you all been?

I am easing myself  back into crafting again slowly, after having spent the most wonderful time down at Indigoblu HQ doing a demonstrator course.        I have learned sooo much in my time away, and brought back so many lovely new things to craft with and ideas for projects that I want to do,  that I really don’t know where to start or what to make first!

So guess what?

I decided to make a wee wooly flower from some gorgeous Merino wool,  just to help me along the way :-)  Love how it turned out and if I can perfect my technique and get them a wee bit skinnier, then I will make some cards with them.

I am planning to head up to my shed after tea tonight and get started with making some projects for Indigoblu.. I have a Manequin torso and stand to finish.    I also have the new christmas release stamps to play with and create a card for the Indigoblu challenge blog for this month, which is Christmas in July!

It is going to be a busy evening :-)

As always, thank you so much for popping in

Take Some Notes…

Just  a quick post tonight with a little project to share that I have worked on and off over the last 2 days, there is a lot of different layers in this altered A5 notebook.

There are layers of gesso, paint, texture paste, embossing, enamel embossing, gilding, and dry brushing..

Like how it looks, and has also given me an idea for Christmas!   I think this would look fab with snowflakes all over it, keeping the same colour scheme etc.. I just need to remember to make one nearer the time ;-) .

Bless your Wee Wooly Heart

Bless your wee wooly heart…

I {{heart}} felting so much… I have more idea’s in mind for future projects, and I am excited to get started with these, but need to wait on “felty stuffs” arriving in the mail before I can do anything else….. maybe ;-)   (just thought of something lol)

So…. last night whilst wee wooly gingerbread guy was in progress, I remembered I had a star cookie cutter in the back of the kitchen drawer!… and before I knew it, i had 2 projects on the go at once lol

I waited until this morning to finish the star off because I needed some silver thread and beads from my shed

I love how it turned out.. this is the last of the sheep wool that I was given, I need to order more of the same because I want to make more of these to put on my christmas tree this year.    In fact I might even get a real tree this year because these stars would be perfect!   I may put some on my Etsy Shop too, the shelves over there have been bare for a loooong time :)
