The Love Bug!

Here’s my latest Project for Wild Orchid Crafts Youtube Design Team… a Little Love Bug Valentine Mini Album..

Making this book was a challenge as I had completely ran out of Scor tape and created the whole thing using wet glue.. the majority was Claudine Hellmuth Multi Medium in Matte, Collal Glue and my Hot Glue Gun!

I used a binding technique “stack the deck” from Laura Dennison of Following the Paper Trail.. its a neat technique to try out.. I watched her Youtube video which provides clear instructions.

  1. Love your Valentine Mini. Can you tell me what the finished size is? I am wanting to try that binding system and this would be a great little project to do so. Thanks for sharing your talent!

      The mini cover size is 4″ horizontal/Height x 4.5″ vertical/Length, hope this helps, its a nice size to start off with and it’s surprising how quickly it comes together to make it :-)

      I’m doing my best with the UIU Use it Up challenge, completely ran out of double sided tape at the weekend… does make you think before buying non essentials tho eh?
