Hi everyone..

I have a great canvas to share with you today.. I had attended a workshop with Jo Firth Young (JOFY) here in Edinburgh at Stampers Grove a few weeks ago and I can finally share my canvas with you all now that her new stamp line has been released.

There is beauty in simplicity

Hi Everyone…

Hope you are all doing well …

Seeing as the weather is so dreich today I went up to my shed and made a wee card after work

I created several brusho backgrounds on Tim Holtz water colour paper a few weeks back, and had a few leftover pieces on my desk.. so decided to make this wee card

leave 1

The card base is 4″ x 4″ with a black card layer followed by the brusho top layer

leave 4

the skeleton leave stamp is from a Paperartsy stamp set by Lin Brown Series 29 and this was stamped directly onto the paper using stazon purple ink

leave 2

The card was assembled and finished off with a Tim Holtz small talk sticker for the sentiment..

I have been busy this week working on my next design team project for colourcraft will be live on their blog on the 17th June at 10am.. i’m excited about it already 🙂

As always, thanks for popping round, I will try and blog more soon, but if you fancy catching up with me on social media you can see me on Instagram where I post lots of pictures of the dogs, flowers, the fishery and every day life… link is in the side bar 😉

Take care

Hold on tight to your dreams…

Hi Everyone..

I altered three wee notebooks today..

I bought these a while back at Stampers Grove, they are great to alter and I also got to use that new kraft and black paper pad that I had bought from the Range last month.

I kept them very simple, they are a great size for sticking in your handbag/purse so didn’t want to embelish them too much

notebooks 2

I cut the paper to size which was 2.5″ x 4″

notebooks 3

then inked all round the edges of the books and the patterned paper in black archival ink

notebooks 4

I applied scortape all round the reverse side of the patterned paper and stuck to the front and back pages of the books

notebooks 5

Then I finished them off with some Tim Holtz small talk stickers

notebooks 6

A nice quick and easy project for a sunday morning 🙂

As always thank you for popping round
