Thank You Card

I tried making my own bazzill paper flowers yesterday, I dont have any flower punches so used my cricut to cut out a retro flower in various different sizes.. Β I think I need a wee bit more practice, and I think it could have done with a few more layers πŸ™‚

Loving the new Laura Ashley Paper pack that I bought yesterday too (video on You tube to follow)…

Supplies List :-

  • Green Bazzill Gemstone Cardstock
  • Laura Ashley Glittered Paper (doesnt have a name on the pad unfortunately / pastels tho)
  • Technique Tuesday Thank You Stamp
  • Tattered Angels Petina Glimmer Mist
  • Cosmic Shimmer Peacock Green Mist
  • Small Tim Holtz Brad
  • Hero Arts Yellow Gemstone
  • Ranger Glossy Accents (to adhere flower)

  1. Your flower is beautiful Sarah! It looks so soft…like it’s made out of felt! I really like it! I’m anxious to see what the next ones look like to! πŸ™‚

    • Hi Nancy… thanks for your comments (as always πŸ™‚ ) I think it looks like felt because of the way I sprayed it with the cosmic shimmer mist… I have tried to make more tonight but my cricut has died 😦 No idea what’s wrong with it either, as I have only used it a handful of times in the 3 years i’ve had it… guess i’ll be out shopping for flower punches tomorrow, no point in having all that gorgeous bazzill paper and no means to make flowers πŸ˜‰

    • Thanks Elizabeth, this was my first attempt at making these kind of flowers and they are fairly easy to make, although I think I might put more layers into the next ones I try, probably this weekend, as I bought a ton of Bazzill cardstock from the closing down sale at acard4u πŸ™‚

    • Hey Kelly :-)… yep its a homemade flower, really easy to do, I didnt have any flower punches, but I did have some flower shapes on one of my cricut cartridges so just used that πŸ™‚
