Patchwork Cardstock, Speckled Flowers & Aqua Diamond Dust

I’ve had a lots of fun in the workshop this afternoon, I love having days where I can just potter around and make little bits of this and little bits of that πŸ™‚

Here are a few of my little bits

I had a lot of little scraps of lovely pink cardstock, so rather than wasting them, I made some “Patchwork” cardstock, I also dabbed it with some aqua alcohol ink and silver mixative once the gel medium had dried πŸ™‚

Next I emptied some diamond dust into a little plastic sealable bag and put a few drops of the aqua Adirondak Alcohol Ink into it, now I have lovely blue diamond dust πŸ™‚

Next up were the plain white hydrangea Flowers Β that I got from http://www.iamroses.com in Thailand, I love these and I can now do custom colours on my twisty flowers, this one I tried out the Speckled effect πŸ™‚ Β I used Cosmic Shimmer Mist on this one

    • Thanks so much for visiting and your lovely comments, as always πŸ™‚

I have been wanting to try making my own coloured diamond dust for a long time now, but didnt have any alcohol ink… I bought my first bottle a couple of weeks ago and have been itching to use it .

I loved making the patchwork cardstock, still have to make a card with this piece I made, but the ideas are forming nicely πŸ™‚

I love these plain flowers from I am Roses… looking forward to making more this weekend πŸ™‚
