Handmade Scrapalope / Envelope

I bought a packet of 5 Kraft Scrapalopes at an online sale about a month ago with a view to unpicking one and making some of my own to co-ordinate with the cards I make.

Tonight up in the workshop I did just that, took all the measurements, score lines etc etc, chose a nice piece of 12 x 12 double sided patterned paper and made my very first Scrapalope / Envelope …… I love it and they are easy enough to make, I managed this one on my first attempt 🙂

Supplies List :-

  • 1 x sheet of 12 x 12 double sided patterned paper cut to 185mm x 225mm
  • The paper I used us The Afternoon Tea Collection from Scrap within Reach ~ Item #AT512 “Green Peony”
  • Nestabilities Labels One Set
  • Big Shot
  • Extra Tacky Red Tape
  • Cropodile & 2 Eyelets
  • Corner Chomper
  • Green Fibre/chenile for fastening

I cant wait to make more now 🙂

    1. Thanks Nancy, when I seen then online and they were on clearance I thought they looked fab, a bit like the Maya Road ones 😉 Now all I need to get are Tims on the edge dies and give the envelope flaps a nice decorative edge 😀
