Some Pins and a wee bit Emboss Resisting :-)

In the workshop today I have been having a play around, trying a wee bit of this and a wee bit of that πŸ˜€

Here are some of the things I’ve made:

A couple of Pins, nothing too fancy, plain and simple, just how I like it πŸ™‚ , these are the purple beads I got from the charity shop earlier on this year….

Did you notice the background they are resting on? Β  I made that today too πŸ™‚ a wee bit emboss resist with the holographic embossing powders I got on Thursday night…

I wondered what I could make with it, and came up with an idea, plus to use up scraps, another notepad lol…… but the blank papers inside are cold pressed watercolour papers, with a gorgeous texture… and of course those dinky wee roses are featured again πŸ™‚

Materials Used :~

  • K & Company Sea Glass Patterned Paper (scrap)
  • Rowney & Daler Cold Pressed Water Colour Paper
  • Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Broken China and Shabby Shutters
  • Papermania Holographic Embossing Powder
  • Versamark
  • Heat Gun
  • Hot Glue Gun {{CAUTION Required lol }}
  • 4 x Wild Orchid Crafts 10mm Green Tone Roses
  • Green Fibre for the Binding
  • Cropodile to punch holes out for the binding
  • Stamp is Β a woodblock background Stamp from Hero Arts

Nearly forgot the size is 3.25″ x 3.25″ just a nice size to stick in your handbag/purse πŸ™‚

Thanks so much for popping in πŸ™‚ Β  … p.s. I am loving all your stories about your favourite christmas decorations, its nice to reminisce is’nt it x

    • Thanks so much Laura, it was good fun trying out the new holographic embossing powder with the distress inks, and the notebook is just a nice wee dinky size πŸ™‚

  1. Sarah, lovely notebook. I pretty much live in the woods.*g* I need to see where to buy some of those roses. The pins, I have never seen anything like that before. A nice accent.

    Enjoy your evening!
