  1. My favourite thing has to be the roast parsnips, I love them yummy! I also love the crackers, the daft jokes, the silly hats and the little gift! It just makes Christmas lunch fun! Hope you had a great Christmas Sarah x

  2. The favourite part was the King Salmon fish that me dad had caught and the great relaxed drinks wth family. Plus the chocolate panforte with the chewy centre for dessert. YUM!!!!

  3. My absolute favorite is my mother’s cornbread-based dressing. Try as I might, I can never make it as well as she can, nor have I found any dressing (store bought or homemade) that rivals it. This stuff is so wonderful that my father asks for it as part of his birthday meal!! My grandmother’s cherry cobbler, of course, is magnificent as well, but I have yet to find anything close to my mother’s dressing. Merry Christmas Sarah, and thanks for all of the lovely ideas – I used several of them to create a wall scrapbook calendar as part of my mother’s Christmas present 🙂

  4. I love owls – but not to eat – not even owl ice cream that the Gruffalo likes. How can I choose 3 favourite Christmas foods when it’s the whole ensemble that works? Oh, well, turkey, with bacon-wrapped chipolatas and smooth mashed potato (gravy doesn’t really count, does it?). I had a wonderful Christmas dinner, at my son and daughter-in-law’s house, which included these three favourites plus lots more. Hope you had what you enjoyed. Happy Christmas to my fellow bloggers.

  5. As we were 2 we went to restaurent first we had a cocktail with rum and fresh fruit next I chose a giant salad with a “St Félicien” (a french cheese) on potatoes, and finally for dessert I went for “profiteroles” with home made whipped cream. Everything was DELICIOUS !!!

  6. My favorite part of the Christmas meal? hard to say really. It’s a toss up of homemade pisetzi’s (a pastry wrapped cheese item), or my sisters “baked beans”.

    Merry Christmas Sarah!!!

  7. uhmm I just had lunch:d I love spicy chicken with chips, a cake called: Cremes and of course the traditional Chicken soup! YAMMYYy with pasta:D
    Merry Chirstmas to you Sarah!
