Fragment of Love

Wishing you all a very Happy, Healthy and Crafty New Year ๐Ÿ™‚

I hope you all had a wonderful time…. Things are kinda getting back to normal here, We finally got our Gas Central Heating repaired, after going through Christmas and New Year with nothing but my workshop heater!..

Well, the heater is now back where it belongs, in my workshop, and today I headed up there to make something, I must have sat for well over an hour just staring at all my crafting things wondering what I was going to make, and ended up making a start to a mini album, I have the chipboard outer cover done and I also made this Fragment Charm out of one of the Tim Holtz Fragments, this will eventually end up dangling off the mini once I finish it ๐Ÿ™‚

I couldn’t quite make up my mind, do you think it looks better photographed on a white background or the black background?

Supplies List :~

  • Tim Holtz Fragment Charm
  • Ranger Glossy Accents
  • Prima Flights of Fancy Patterned Paper
  • Woodware Heart Punch
  • Donna Salazar Crafty Chronicles Newspaper for the letters “l o v ย & e”
  • Wild Orchid Crafts 10mm Pink Foundation Rose

  1. Sarah, I agree with Elizabeth; the dark background is best because it brings out the creams in your fragment, which may get overlooked on a white background but are one of the things giving it its wonderful look. Happy New Year!

  2. Hi Sarah, lovely charm and I think the dark background shows it off better. Glad to hear your heating has been repaired and happily you are back in your workshop. Do you think it was going from only have a few crafting goodies to a workshop full of them that threw you when you eventually got back down to it – the paradox of too much choice I believe it’s termed – most often seen on supermarket shelves ๐Ÿ™‚ Happy New Year. Elizabeth xx
