Sunday Ramblings

Well… I was woken up early this morning with the postie knocking at the front door and two springer spaniels doing a very good impression of the Hounds of the Baskervilles!    I jumped out of bed that quick that I got cramp in my calf muscle, managed to give the postie a wave out the window to acknowledge him,  he looked up, gave me a wave and left it at the front door 🙂

It was my order from , I have made a video, but Youtube isn’t playing today and it wont upload.

Later on this afternoon, there was another knock at the door, another postie! with another parcel!!  two in one day yipeeeee…..   This parcel was from the US and Lindys Stamp Gang,  I had entered their Christmas Giveaway and won a Little Lindys Kit 😀

Its been a quick day… I’ve spent a good part of the day faffing around with Ustream, trying to teach myself how to record shows and stuff :-/  I need to practice more lol … and why cant you see yourself when your recording? hmmm plus I was getting loads of squeely feedback through the speakers .. the joys!

I did however make a couple of embelishments .. a rosette flower and a chipboard covered flower with a glass glittered gold star

For the Rosette flower I cut a strip of double sided patterned paper 12″ x 1″ and then scored it at every 1/4″

and the stripey flower is the B side of the above flowery flower

and the other flower is a Papermania Bare Chipboard Flower covered with distressed paper and topped with a gold glass glittered star

Hope your all having a lovely sunday

    1. The wee stars are really easy to make Amy, just cut out a star be it a punch, cricut, chipboard embelishment, cover in glossy accents, then sprinkle gold glitter glass over it and leave to dry.. love the effect of it so much I think I’ll set up a wee production line this weekend and make a ton of them 😉 have a great weekend x

  1. Really beautiful Sarah! I love your rosette and the paper you used is lovely. I love you sparkly vintage flower with the glittery star as well. You look like you’re having loads of fun creating! xx
