Remembering Some Very Good Ideas

I started to make this little project a few days ago, the box is finished, and I plan to work on the zig zag book this weekend to finish it off 🙂

This oval box was sent to me by my friend Gina over in Sweden (Thanks Gina)! It started out a natural brown colour until I painted and embellished it…

Supplies Used :-

  • Wedgewood Blue Acrylic Paint
  • Glitz Design Vintage Blue Patterned Paper (leftovers from the Parisienne Bureau)
  • Plaster of Paris Angel that I made last weekend
  • Burlap
  • Vintage Blue Lace
  • Decoart Glitter
  • Claudine Hellmuth Multi Medium in Matte
  • Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive
  • An Old Vintage book for the words
  • Vintage Photo Distress Ink
  • Versamagic Night Sky Chalk Ink

I tried to use the sewing machine to stitch along the bottom of the scrunched paper but it didnt like going through it, so just left the tiny bit in that it did manage to sew 🙂

The clouds were coated in scotch quick dry adhesive and sprinkled with glitter

I plan to keep the box and decorate the book that goes inside it, £ remembering some very good ideas” from the past 🙂

Thanks for popping in 🙂
