Taggy Mini and the Teeny Mini Pinny

Happy Saturday everyone 🙂

Today on the shed I had a scheduled Ustream Class booked in for 10am for 3 hours to make the Taggy Mini Book.

Here is the taggy mini I made today.. it was loads of fun to make and I recorded the stream which is in 2 parts…. Part 1 here and Part 2 here..  It uses the stack the deck binding technique by Laura Dennison

Now… I was going to call it “the summer of 2012”  until I realised I didnt have any number stamps lol  (note to self order some!)

So in the end I called it “The little-ist Book of Summer”

Supplies List :-

  • Echo Park Summer Drive 12 x 12 Patterned Paper pack (I picked this because of it’s summery feel and to Use it Up!)
  • Tags
  • Wild Orchid Flowers and Pearls
  • Lucky Limeade Ink from Stampin Up to edge everything
  • Bakers Twine
  • Hot Glue, Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive and Scotch ATG Tape Gun

and then I made myself a wee pincushion with leftover fabric from the hand bound book I made a couple or three weeks ago..

I got the idea for this from one that I had bought in a wee shop a couple of weeks ago

It is teeny only measuring 2″ x 2″ … it was fun to make

  • Supplies List :-
  • Floral Fabric
  • Green Felt
  • Flower Bead
  • Stick Pin
  • May Arts Velvet Ribbon
  • Stuffing
  • sewing machine
  • needle and thread

Thanks for popping in 🙂

  1. I think great things come in small sizes. Your mini is delightful and your pincushions are adorable. Hugs May
