Hi there everyone… I’m back to work after my holiday and straight into the thick of the month end process, which means i;m too tired to craft or make anything in the evenings once I get home from work…. so I thought I would share a project with you that I made at the weekend…
It is a polygon shaped trinket box, I had bought a couple of them at the weekend from my local Hobbycraft store and I plan to paint, paper and embellish the other one this weekend and also record the process on Ustream, then these two projects will become this wee’ks DT projects for Wild Orchid Crafts.
Supplies used :-
- Polygon Trinket Box from Hobbycraft
- Echo Park Hello Spring Patterned Paper
- Decoart Pink Lemonade Acrylic Paint
- Versa Color Pink Chalk Ink
- WD-00026Â 2 Metre Flat Back Ivory Pearl String – 4mm
- Cream and Green 30mm Rose Leaves Item Code LL-00024
- Pink Rose (centre) from Wild Orchid Crafts (will post the code soon)
- Pink Pearls from WOC
Thanks for popping in 🙂
Looking forward to seeing those of you who can make it to my ustream at the weekend, if not, I will record it 🙂
Love the pearl trim as it accents the lovely shape of the box. Very astute just using one flower–so classy. Hugs May
Thanks May x
Sweet creation, Sarah! Love all those pearls – Shabby chic fabulousness 🙂
Happiness,
Corrinne
PS – I have handmade blog candy on my blog right now!
Hi Corrinne…
Thanks for popping in… apologies for not replying sooner, i;ve been up to my eyes and ears in work this week..
Will pop over to your blog later for a peep 🙂
Have a great weekend
Sarah
Lovely and I can’t wait to see the roses on WOC
Thanks for popping in and leaving a comment, much appreciated, I’ll get the code for that rose the next time i’m up in my shed 🙂
Lovely with the one large flower, liked what you did with the leaves – very pretty Sarah
Thanks Julia 🙂 I only used 3 leaves, removed the wire stalk and cut them in half, the large rose covered the void space and flat edges in the middle 🙂 x
