Indigoblu Cardwell Demonstration Day

Hi everyone!

Happy 1st of February to you all…

Remember a few blog posts ago I mentioned I was heading to Cardwell Garden Centre in Gourock to do a demonstration for indigoblu… Well I thought that I would share my day there with you and also make this a regular feature here on the blog.

A huge thank you to Mairi and Faye for looking after me it was a lovely day and great to see so many like minded crafty ladies and youngsters.

First of all I would like to thank Elizabeth for driving over to see me at the demo… Elizabeth and I have been online crafty friends for well over four years but had never met! ย well we finally got to meet and give each other a big hug yesterday .. You can find Elizabeth and all her gorgeous crafty goodies over here on her blog:

and here we are

It was a great day and it is a great shop and if you are ever through that way pop in and visit the craft shop and say hi to Mairi and Faye ๐Ÿ™‚

here are couple of the cards I made yesterday using the new indigoblu release stamps.

And finally a wee photo of me making something and chatting to the ladies (photo credit to Mairi for this one).

Well that’s me for now, I hope you enjoyed a wee insight into my demo day yesterday..

As always thank you so much for popping round and I will see you all soon with more crafty stuff ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Wow…my favorite crafting spot when visiting “home”.
Wonderful to know that more crafters are discovering this hidden jewel.
Although I reside in sunny Jacksonville Florida, I was born and raised in Greenock. I visit home once a year and always make time to stop at Cardwell Nursery. It’s just a delight to walk through at all times of th e year, especially during the holidays.
I could spend hours just in the craft shop. Paper, stamps and ink…who could ask for more!
I am looking forward to my next trip home later this year, can’t wait to see what my favorite crafting shop has for me this trip.

  2. HI Sarah, it was lovely to meet you to after all this time too and I will be sure to come along to any future demo you have at Cardwells. Mairi and Faye are most welcoming and very helpful too. Many thanks for the shout out – you’re too kind ๐Ÿ™‚ Your cards are fabulous and I can see that splat heart being very popular with lots of crafters – it looks great on that lovely inky background. Love Mairi’s photo of you surrounded by the ladies and it’s so nice to see the the little girl taking an interest too – hopefully a future crafter. Good idea to make a regular feature of your trips around the country – I will be reading your posts with interest. Hugs, Elizabeth xx
