Wee Pillie Boxes

Hi everyone!

It has been another busy night… working late, made the tea, went to vote at local election, walked the dogs, then up to my shed to make something for the blog..

I was at the chiropractor earlier today, i have the sorest neck and back, hopefully they can straighten me out soon! but tonight I’m a tad sore, so once the blog post is done I’m off to bed for an early night.

Tonight’s project… wee pillie boxes or if you are not familiar with scottish dialect .. small pillow boxes 😀

they are super easy to make, I used the Lawn Fawn Pillow Box Die and it fits perfectly with a bit of 6 x 6 patterned paper, so you can make loads of different ones depending on what paper you have to hand and what you fancy…

I used stampin up dies for the tags.. they are sizzix sizzlet type ones I bought a very long time ago and never used, shame on me.. they are lovely and I should have used them! pillow box 1

I used this grey and white bakers twine the other day and it was still lying on my desk so it came in handy for this one.

I also stuck some star sequins onto the glitter cardstock that I cut the tags out of.. love how this looks and fancy making some more soon.

As always, thanks for popping round to my wee blog and I will see you tomorrow 🙂 it’s almost the weekend yipeeeee!

Take care

  1. Gorgeous. Love your colour and print choices. Isn’t it funny how seeing something done so beautifully can change your perception? I fell out of love with pillow boxes years ago, but now I see how lovely these are and I think I want to make some too!
