Paper mache Bowl

Hi everyone..

I have had a busy day up in my shed, I made a card, painted a bowl, recorded a video, made a snowflake out of pegs and tons of other wee bits n pieces

Here is the bowl I painted, i made a set of 3 bowls out of paper mache a few weeks back and this was the lone survivor so i gave it a few licks of paint 🙂 .. although this one did split numerous times when I was releasing it off the bowl so it has a few staples holding it together!

I do love the paint job though and quite fancy trying this method out again on something else 🙂

I painted it using the new quinacridone gold & the tinting base by Deco Art Media that I bought when I popped down to Dumfries last weekend to visit Helen’s new shop

Righty-ho that’s me done for the day, hope to make more stuff tomorrow as hubby is off up to the pond.

Thanks for popping round

Sarah

  1. I think the staples add a bit of interest and texture. You could always say they were part of your design plan! 🙂

  2. Hello Sarah.
As you know, I enjoy your blog so very much that I have nominated you for a Versatile Blogger Award! There are only a couple of things you have to do if you would like to accept the award, and you can find out about those here: https://thecobweboriumemporium.wordpress.com/2016/09/29/how-versatile-am-i-i-wonder/

You are under no obligation to accept the award if you don’t have time to do so, or even if perhaps you’ve got a bundle of awards and don’t have room on the shelf for another!
But I just wanted let you know.
Have a blessed rest of your day ~ Cobs.
