It’s been a while and it seems like I have been absent for ages.. but I have been super busy making wedding invitations.. and they turned out sooo pretty..
So this is me back to bloggy business as usual. I am starting off my return with a birthday card, I was asked to make this by one of my friends at work.. love how this one came together
The card base is 6″ x 6″ and it is a kraft scalloped edge card that I bought at the Ross Papercraft Show a few months back..
I used some black cardstock as a layer and some pretty floral patterned paper..
The flower was a packet of basic white flowers from Hobbycraft and I used a sepia coloured spray to give it a touch of colour..
I will be back with another blog post soon as I have been asked to make a couple of first communion cards and a wedding card for a couple of friends at work,
As always, thanks for popping round and…. its great to be back 😀

I mentioned yesterday that I had some news to share…
I am so happy to be able to let you know that I am a design team member for 2017-2018 for ColourCraft and I am looking forward to creating lots of nice new projects for them in the coming year.. and of course you will get to see them all because they will all be featured here on my blog 🙂
I also have an ATC Art Shrine to share with you… this is from a company called That’s Crafty and they can be bought from http://www.stampersgrove.co.uk
they arrive in kit form and you have to glue all the bits together to make the shrine, you get 3 in a packet.. I gave one a coat of Deco Art white gesso, then cracked open my new set of Tim Holtz mini Stencils and used 2 different ones along with Deco Art Modelling Paste
I also used 2 pots of Brush crystals to obtain the gorgeous colour on the shrine.. Turquoise and Light Brown…
I popped in an ATC that I made some time ago, just to see what it looked like up against the ATC Shrine
I’m loving how the blue pops through the brown in random places.. and I am looking forward to decorating the other two soon… not sure if I am entirely finished decorating this one yet, I might add something else to the front, but if I do I will be sure to post an updated picture
That’s all for today, as always thanks for popping round and I will see you soon
Apologies for not being around for over a week, I’ve been sick with the flu and sinusitis, and have only just started to feel human again this afternoon!

There is a craft show on tomorrow that I am hoping to go to in the morning, so I will share any great finds with you when I get back,
Until then, see you tomorrow
I have been playing with Distress Oxide inks on kraft cardstock tonight 😀
I made a wee tag
I put so many layers of ink down my tag warped quite a bit, so I double layered it ontop of another one to give it a bit of stability..
I used Spiced Marmalade, Broken China, Iced Spruce, and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide Inks
I also used a lovely Petaloo Darjeeling Teal Dahlia flower, a Tim Holtz Small Talk Sticker, and my Uniball Signo White Pen..
I used a Prima Finnabair spotty stamp over top of the oxide inks and finished it off with some Maya Road Fibres …
As always, thank you for popping round
I mentioned the other day that I would share the coffee sleeve tag book that I made using the Graphic 45 Safari Adventure papers..
I used plain kraft coloured coffee sleeves and stenciled over each one with a Dylusions stencil with a triangle pattern and Ground Espresso ink.. I think it made it rather giraffe like 🙂
I also used one of the pages from the 12 x 12 stack with loads of cut aparts to decorate and embelish the book
I stuffed the book with tags and belly bands so that you can add even more tags
and I finished off the book by binding it all with a book ring and a large eyelet from We r Memory Keepers using the Cropodile.
As always, thank you for popping round
See you again soon
