I altered three wee notebooks today..
I bought these a while back at Stampers Grove, they are great to alter and I also got to use that new kraft and black paper pad that I had bought from the Range last month.
I kept them very simple, they are a great size for sticking in your handbag/purse so didn’t want to embelish them too much
I cut the paper to size which was 2.5″ x 4″
then inked all round the edges of the books and the patterned paper in black archival ink
I applied scortape all round the reverse side of the patterned paper and stuck to the front and back pages of the books
Then I finished them off with some Tim Holtz small talk stickers
A nice quick and easy project for a sunday morning 🙂
As always thank you for popping round

A little altered notebook was my choice of craft today, and I also recorded the process of making this on video for my youtube channel.

- Paperartsy Grunge paste
- Wooden Heart
- Heidi Swapp Colorshine in Coral

A fun little project and so easy to create, I will be holding a workshop this Saturday in Edinburgh at Stampers Grove Craft Shop where we will be altering notebooks, by painting, distressing, inking, stamping and decorating them.
as always, thanks so much for popping round 🙂
Take Some Notes…
Just a quick post tonight with a little project to share that I have worked on and off over the last 2 days, there is a lot of different layers in this altered A5 notebook.
There are layers of gesso, paint, texture paste, embossing, enamel embossing, gilding, and dry brushing..
Like how it looks, and has also given me an idea for Christmas! I think this would look fab with snowflakes all over it, keeping the same colour scheme etc.. I just need to remember to make one nearer the time 😉 .
as always, thanks for popping round
A wee video showing how I altered my notebook using paint, stamps, watercolour pencils and poster paints
It’s Sunday, but not quite time yet for shabby sunday 😉
I altered a notebook this morning and thought I would share this first..
I recorded the process from start to finish over on youtube, and the video will be live later today..
- Hard Cover Spiral Bound Notebook

- Paperartsy Snowflake and Vintage Lace Acrylic Paint
- Paperartsy JOFY Stamps
- Sharpie Poster Paint Pens

I love the Paperartsy Vintage Lace Fresco Finish Chalk Paint, it gives off a very pale pinkish hue
