Ella

Hi Everyone,

I have another Ella and Friends card to share today..

This is Ella the Elephant from the stamp set i used yesterday, I coloured her with Copic markers and I used nice smooth card stock today, which made it so much easier for the ink to blend.

i carrot ’bout you.

Something a little bit different tonight, stamping and colouring with Copic Markers …

I used to love sitting at the big table when I was young with a big fat colouring book and a box of felt tip pens πŸ™‚ It would keep me occupied for hours and hours… oh and also a scrapbook, glue, a pair of scissors and sheets and sheets of scraps, I used to sit and cut all the little white tabs off and then glue them all down in the book πŸ™‚ Β .. and guess what? Bits and Bobs….

I’ve not really been making any cards over the last few days, the weather here has been glorious, so we have been taking full advantage of the lovely sunny weather…

I did pop up to the workshop this morning and again this evening and just faffed around doing little bits n bobs.. so I thought I’d share my faffings with you

I watched a video on You Tube on making paper flowers, so I gave that a whirl

Then I took out a white prima flower and coloured each petal in a different colour of Copic Marker, I like how it turned out, might make a card with it this week…

Then I took a picture of some loopy wool that I got from Lisa in the My Paper Pantry Lightweight Swap, I love the colours and textures in this wool, so I will need to make something with it soon πŸ™‚

Xmas Hot Chocolate with a Stickles Frosting :-)

One last scrap challenge card for the evening, I really need to get back down to the house and get everyone ready for school & work tomorrow morning, I still have to go and get the car filled up with fuel :-s

So here we are, a little mini card, that would probably look good as a gift tag on a christmas present, especially if it was a Hot Chocolate Mug Kit πŸ™‚ now there’s an idea!

This lovely little card was made out of all the scraps of paper I cleared up earlier today… I stamped out a load of these little hot chocolate mugs last night and coloured them in with a mixture of Copics and Promarkers… the gorgeous little sparkly frostings were made by using some Stickles, I’d bought a few bottles of different ones especially for christmas projects.

  • Old Olive Cardstock from Stampin Up
  • Cosmo Cricket Jolly by Golly Elements
  • Imaginisce Snag Em Stamps – Hot Chocolate
  • Versamark watermark Stamp Pad
  • American Crafts Shortbread (Snowflakes)
