Wee Pillie Boxes

Hi everyone!

It has been another busy night… working late, made the tea, went to vote at local election, walked the dogs, then up to my shed to make something for the blog..

I was at the chiropractor earlier today, i have the sorest neck and back, hopefully they can straighten me out soon! but tonight I’m a tad sore, so once the blog post is done I’m off to bed for an early night.

Tonight’s project… wee pillie boxes or if you are not familiar with scottish dialect .. small pillow boxes 😀

pillow box4

they are super easy to make, I used the Lawn Fawn Pillow Box Die and it fits perfectly with a bit of 6 x 6 patterned paper, so you can make loads of different ones depending on what paper you have to hand and what you fancy…

I used stampin up dies for the tags.. they are sizzix sizzlet type ones I bought a very long time ago and never used, shame on me.. they are lovely and I should have used them! pillow box 1

I used this grey and white bakers twine the other day and it was still lying on my desk so it came in handy for this one.

I also stuck some star sequins onto the glitter cardstock that I cut the tags out of.. love how this looks and fancy making some more soon.

As always, thanks for popping round to my wee blog and I will see you tomorrow 🙂 it’s almost the weekend yipeeeee!

Take care

Grandpa knows all the tricks…

Goodness … it’s been a mad couple of days here… but I managed to make a card tonight, this one is for my son to give to his grandpa..

We all seem to be going to the hospital at the same time… my son has the diabetes clinic (he was diagnosed with type 1, 2 days ago) and also my father in law is getting a blood transfusion, he has cancer… so we will all be up at the hospital at the same time tomorrow, I thought it would be nice for my son to give him a wee card to take with him whilst he is getting his treatment …

The stamp set I used was from my friend Leonie (Scrapaliciousleo) over on You Tube, I had sent her some goodies over to the US a while back and she sent me a lovely wee (unexpected) package that arrived last week … thanks again Leonie!

So the card tonight is Grandpa knows all the tricks
