Blogmas Day 17

Hi everyone and welcome to Blogmas day 17…

Apologies in advance for the late posting today, It was my work’s Christmas party last night and I am loaded with a stinking cold,no hangover tho πŸ˜‰

Today, I hauled myself up to my shed to get cracking with making my Christmas Cards for family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues ..

I based it on a design I have already made but turned it into a 6×6 card, there is nothing better than recieving a good quality handmade card

So the card base measures 6″ x 6″ and the white inner layer is 4″ x 4″ then the dark grey layer is 3 7/8″ x 3 7/8″ and the patterned paper is 3 3/4″ x 3 3/4″

I have a ton of stuff still to do and I am hoping to get it all done tomorrow, because I have not started my Christmas shopping yet and time is ticking on πŸ˜€

See you tomorrow!

Merry Little Christmas Card

Hi everyone!

A warm welcome to Blogmas day 5.

It is absolutely freezing outside and I had to stick an extra heater on in my shed tonight to warm the place up πŸ˜€ however the cold spell is due to go away mid week as the jet stream sits above the UK bringing warm air up from the nether regions πŸ˜‰

I have a wee christmas card to share today, I am using my favourite patterned paper and also a new Snowflake Die Set.

Merry Christmas Cards

Hi Everyone!

The thought run through my head today that I don’t make enough cards, and it is true.. I had a look back through my blog and it is sparse in the card department, so I intend to get back to my roots and make more of them…. starting today!

I got stuck into making Christmas cards, and I made a trio (all the same)

I want to make more in the coming weeks, then decide which one I like the best, Β so I will hang off mass producing them until I choose my favourite πŸ™‚

I did record a youtube video of this card being made too, which I will upload shortly

merryxmas3

I used 3 x lovely distress inks for this card… Tumbled Glass, Weathered Wood and Broken China

The leaf die and the sentiment stamp are from Clearly Besotted Stamps, I also used some bazzill textured cardstock in a lovely blue colour as a mat between my layers

I hope you enjoyed today’s card, and I hope to be back with more cards very soon

Thanks for popping round

Masculine Christmas Card

Hi there everyone…

It has been a busy old weekend, and I don’t think I have stopped for one minute all weekend.

Saturday I was through in Glasgow at Craft World .. and today, I spent the whole day in my shed crafting, creating samples, recording tutorials for youtube, editing photographs, writing up blog posts etc. etc… Β I love a productive weekend πŸ˜‰

So today I have a card that I really struggle with… man cards πŸ™‚

That said, I think this one is not too bad, and relatively easy to make too! Β  It is a big 7″ x 7″ card, and perfect for that special person in your life at Christmas!
