Blogmas Day 22

Hi there everyone,

A very warm welcome to my blog and to Blogmas Day 22!

I have a quick and easy project for you this evening… I needed to make a gift wallet, now normally I would make these from scratch, but with time ticking on and a million and one things still needing done I opted for the quickie option and it is a good one to keep under your hat.

I used a Papermania Geometric Gift Wallet and added some chipboard elements to make it more christmassy

supplies list :-

  • Papermania Geometric Gift Wallets
  • Scrapiniec Chipboard Snowflakes
  • Letter M Chipboard Alpha
  • Imagination Crafts Starlights Pain in White Gold
  • Glue

This is the reverse side of it… I do have a blog post and a you tube video on how to make these envelopes from scratch if you are interested in making some for yourself

m-gift-wallet1

I love how it turned out and i even stuck some of the unused snowflake arms that I chopped off the top right snowflake into the letter M to give it a bit of dimension

As always thank you so much for popping round and I will see you for Day 23 tomorrow

Purple Rain-Deer

Hi Everyone..

Welcome to Blogmas Day 6!

Today’s Christmas crafty project is a couple of purple reindeer Glitter and Shimmer ๐Ÿ™‚

purple2

I have made these for Alex at work’s daughter to hang on her wee christmas tree, I made the glittery one first and I think If i was making another glittery one I would give it a base layer of paint the same colour of glitter I was going to cover it with, the reason being, if you look hard enough you can see the paper mache brown shining through… did i mention i got these at hobbycraft reduced to 50p each.. i love a wee bargain

But as this will be going on a Christmas tree I don’t think you will notice it too much..as after the glittery one was finished, I painted the other one with Imagination Crafts Lilac Mist Starlights paint… i like this one better

purple1

I forgot to mention that I gave the glittery one a good old spray with Crafters Companion shiny varnish spray to keep the glitter in, as it sheds like crazy

I really need to get my christmas cards made, so tomorrow will be a card post ๐Ÿ™‚

As always, thank you so much for popping round and I will catch you all tomorrow ๐Ÿ™‚

A warm welcome to Blogmas day 5.

It is absolutely freezing outside and I had to stick an extra heater on in my shed tonight to warm the place up ๐Ÿ˜€ however the cold spell is due to go away mid week as the jet stream sits above the UK bringing warm air up from the nether regions ๐Ÿ˜‰

I have a wee christmas card to share today, I am using my favourite patterned paper and also a new Snowflake Die Set.

Gilded Christmas Ornaments

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to Blogmas Day 3

I have had a super busy day today, my day ย started off with a workshop at Stampers Grove in Edinburgh, followed by late lunch with the boys, a couple of hours housework and then I headed up the garden to my shed to make things ๐Ÿ™‚

If you remember last week I featured Tags and Cards that were gilded with gilding flakes to make them look that wee bit special… well today I thought I would share some tree ornaments that I gilded too.

I took a paper mache reindeer and a glass clip on bird and turned them into lovely ornaments.. here are a couple of before and after pictures

Hi Everyone!

Hope you are all well .. can you believe December is here already!

I have a few Christmas sparkles to share with you today, and to say that I won’t be around on my blog much between now and the new year, I have a lot of stuff happening.

My husband broke his leg in two places the other week, and will be off his work for the next 6 weeks, which means, my workload has increased… Hospital appointment with the consultant to see if they are going to operate/pin/plate the bones to stabilize tomorrow.

I was at the dentist on Monday… I’m on antibiotics for a week as I have an infection in my jaw from a broken crown (just my luck!) and I go to the dentist on Monday to have the root removed (not looking forward to it one bit!)

I will be busy between now and the end of December preparing samples for Indigoblu for their CHA releases, which unfortunately I can’t share. ย  ย However there will be a blog post from me every Tuesday over on the Indigoblu Blog and another card share on the challenge blog around the 19th December.

My Indigoblu Demonstrations have now finished for the year and I have one final workshop to do this Saturday over in Edinburgh for Stampers Grove, ย there are still a few spaces left if you fancy joining me making Christmas shaker cards, money wallets, gift card holders and Christmas tags!

Phew!.. and did I mention in amongst all the December mayhem, I still have to make my own ย Christmas cards for friends and family and do all of my Christmas gift shopping ย eek!

Now onto my sparklies…
