Ice resin fridge magnets

hi everyone!

Day one of my holidays and I made some ice resin fridge magnets..

They are a lot of fun to make and you can put a variety of different things inside them, the ones made today are samples for a workshop at stampers grove in two weeks time.

I quite fancy trying some different ones tomorrow, as the ones made today weren’t testers to see how things went 😊

Sparkly Ice Resin Keyrings

Hello Everyone!

It was a success and they turned out great!

I made Ice Resin keyrings from old Tim Holtz packaging and filled them with sparkly shaker mix sequins from Lucy’s Little Things

Ice Resin Keyring

I love how they turned out, I just need to get some little keychain rings for them 🙂

The packaging I re-used was from a pack of Tim Holtz Swivel Clasp I bought for the bezel key rings I made last week

I still have loads of Ice Resin left and I want to try and explore this further and see what I can make with it 🙂

There is so much you can do with this product and Ice Resin have a fab Youtube Channel with a ton of hints tips and project ideas for you

It is a beautiful sunny day today so I will be heading back up to my wee shed, (in between hanging out the laundry) to make some summer cards for a wee workshop through at stampers grove in a couple of weeks time and I will share these soon on the blog

Thanks for popping round

Ice Resin

Hi Everyone!

This afternoon I had a wee play around with Ice Resin… it’s fun

I embossed aluminium, used reindeer moss, seaglass, buttons, resin rose, pen quills, german glitter glass, shaved ice, mica flakes and tim holtz clear rock candy distress glitter

I will report back tomorrow once it has cured / hardened.

I have more bezels that I can play with so plan to use different materials

As always, thanks for popping round

50th Guest Book

Hi everyone!

A happy soggy wet Sunday to you all 🙂

The rain here has not stopped all day, or yesterday for that matter, and last night I had problems with the electrics in my wee shed.. moisture in a socket i think,  so glad hubby is an electrician, so fired him up there today to fix it lol 🙂 and all is well again, thankfully!

I have a book to share with you today, I was working on this last week and it is finished now, well the ice resin has cured and dried 🙂

It’s a guest book for my friend who is 50 next month, she is having a party, and I thought it would be nice to make a week book for her to pass around at her party so everyone can sign and leave a nice wee message for her

I did a double layer with the ice resin so that it gave the effect of floating stars.. hopefully the next picture shows this off a wee bitty.

I used the bind it all for the book’s binding, using black 3/4″ O Wires.

I also added some nice sparkly sequins to the inside of the book along with a few photo’s and sealed it all in with my fuse tool.

I hope you enjoyed the project this week.. I will be back next week with a regular stream, either Ustream or Youtube, but will notify via social media to let you all know
