Wee Wooly Flower

Wee Wooly Flower.

wee wooly flower

Hi everyone!

How have you all been?

I am easing myself  back into crafting again slowly, after having spent the most wonderful time down at Indigoblu HQ doing a demonstrator course.        I have learned sooo much in my time away, and brought back so many lovely new things to craft with and ideas for projects that I want to do,  that I really don’t know where to start or what to make first!

So guess what?

I decided to make a wee wooly flower from some gorgeous Merino wool,  just to help me along the way 🙂  Love how it turned out and if I can perfect my technique and get them a wee bit skinnier, then I will make some cards with them.

I am planning to head up to my shed after tea tonight and get started with making some projects for Indigoblu.. I have a Manequin torso and stand to finish.    I also have the new christmas release stamps to play with and create a card for the Indigoblu challenge blog for this month, which is Christmas in July!

It is going to be a busy evening 🙂

As always, thank you so much for popping in

Indigoblu Challenge 16 – Monochromatic

Indigoblu May 2014 Challenge 1

Hi there everyone!

I have some rather exciting news to share with you all this morning!

I am really excited to announce that I am a sparkly brand new Design Team member of the Indigoblu Challenge Blog!!

I am really looking forward to work along with the other girls on the team and to be able to work with the fabulous Indigoblu products, and  produce samples for the challenges each month!

The theme this month is Monochromatic and I chose a clean and simple card design using various hues of green.. incorporating a couple of “on trend”  styles including watercolouring and sequins and links to the Indigoblu products will be listed at the bottom of this post.

Indigoblu May 2014 Challenge

I used the Big Butterfly Stamp, which I absolutely LOVE!,  inked up with versamark,  embossed with ultra fine white embossing powder, then watercoloured with various different hues of green water based inks,  the card panel has scattered ink spots and a sprinkling of sequins to finish it off.

The sentiment is from the More than words A6 stamp set, I stamped out one of the sentiments, then trimmed out the words “Life is too short” and mounted this just under the butterfly.   There are a lot of great sentiments and sayings in this plate, and I have some great ideas for the others 🙂

I look forward to seeing you all over at the Indigoblu challenge blog and look forward to seeing all your submissions to the challenge 🙂

As always, thanks so much for popping round.
