Blogmas Day 24

Hello everyone!

It’s Christmas Eve! … How did that fly in so fast, I just want to wish you all a very merry christmas and good health and best wishes for the new year.

I am so glad that I managed to keep up with Blogmas, it was quite the challenge, but I did enjoy it lots.

My final project is a curvy keepsake box and the die for this is from Stampin Up and the tag from Tim Holtz

I love the cardstock that I used it is by American Crafts .. I got it from TK Maxx last year and forgot I had it!

The box below and tag waiting to be put together once it is filled with chocolates

I made these to give out as gifts with presents, I filled each one with Galaxy Chocolate sweeties 🙂

Here is the finished box complete with tag and chocolates 🙂

Have a wonderful day tomorrow with your families and thank you so much for sticking with me through Blogmas I appreciate each and every like and comment that you have made 🙂

I am going to take a wee break from Blogging and enjoy the festivities, I shall be back after Christmas with more crafty stuff and projects

Happy Christmas and a wonderful New Year

Comfort Cafe Tissue Holder

Hi everyone… hope all is well and good with you.

The project for today was inspired by a fellow Youtuber Angie at My Chic and Scratch click here for channel and the tutorial for this project.

I love the concept of this project, and it would be perfect to give as a gift for someone who is choked full of the cold!

I made the whole thing entirely out of my Stampin Up supplies.. all listed below

supplies list:-

  • Lucky Limeadecardstock
  • Very Vanilla Cardstock
  • Comfort Cafe Patterned Paper
  • Petite Pairs Stamp Set
  • Faith in Nature Stamp Set
  • Linen Thread
  • Stampin Dimensionals
  • Stampin Scorboard
  • Stampin Write Markers in Old Olive, Garden Green, Summer Sun & Ruby Red
  • 1.5″ Circle Punch
  • 1.75″ Scalloped Circle Punch
  • 2″ x 13/8″ Large Oval Punch
  • Lucky Limeade Ink Pad

I might need to tweek the measurements because I think the packets of tissues in the US must be wider than ours over here, you can see from the side view below it could have been 1/4″ smaller on the width 🙂

Enjoy the rest of your weekend

Friendship Collage

If you read my blog regularly, you will know that last week was a toughie, and just about every day one special wee friend has never failed to ask how we all are, and I am truely touched by this… Micki, you are a wee angel 🙂 xx

Today I made this collage… once it has had time to dry out properly, I’ll add a couple of eyelets and some fibres to turn it into a hanging picture/plaque of sorts and it will be added to Micki’s RAK, which I am gathering at the moment and will be sent out as soon as it’s ready…

Supplies Used :-

  • Heavy Weight Chipboard
  • Paper Scraps from my big bag of scrap paper
  • Fibres
  • Decoupage Glue by Plaid
  • Friendship words cut out from the DCWV Doggy Stack
