I made this card for my nephew Jamie, he became an uncle recently when my Niece Emma (his sister) gave birth around 5 weeks ago when she was just 27 Weeks to a tiny baby girl called Sadie, she is doing brilliantly, albeit she is very premature… so this card is for him, just so that he doesn’t feel left out 🙂

Saying Goodbye to January…

I bought a My Minds Eye Calendar Kit for my Craft Workshop this year, rather than buying my usual doggy or horsey ones 🙂

So rather than scunner myself by sitting down and making it all in one go, I only made the January page, shown below…

I will be working on the february page this weekend, ready for the calendar to change on Monday as we head into February!

So here we are…. January 2010 and a picture of my springer spaniel boy having an absolute blast in the snow, this picture was taken on the 23rd December 2009 when we were “Snowed In”

In addition to the embelishments contained in the kit for this month I added the following : –

  • 1 Photo of my dog cut out using the labels 1 nestabilities
  • 1 x Bo Bunny Tis the season cut outs and I used the labels 1 nestabilities again in the next size up
  • 1 x prima flower covered with Icicle Stickles
  • 1 x Prima e-line Crystal

I will be buying another one for next year too as this kit is fab!
