Hearts & Rabbits

Yesterday was a busy and productive day, I managed to record and 2 videos onto youtube, and get the blog post up for the Use it Up Mini Book.

Once I had cleared up the aftermath from that, I managed to have a chat with my friend Deb on Skype, and catch up with what we’ve both been up to…

After that I sat down and had a wee play around with sticky back canvas I bought when I ordered my gel medium last week, and also make a couple of valentines cards for my Etsy shoppe, seeing as I found my Making Memories valentine paper that I had lost ๐Ÿ™‚

So here are the cards I made yesterday …

Vintage Lace Birthday Card

I have spent most of today up in my shed… crafting away whilst keeping in mind the UIU Pledge (Use It Up) ๐Ÿ™‚

I bought sheets of chipboard months and months ago and i’ve not been using it as much as I should, so I cut up one of the big sheets today to a standard size card proportion and gave them all a coat of white acrylic paint, with a view to making the easel type cards that I love so much ๐Ÿ™‚

I made 2 valentines cards, then my hubby asked me to make him a card for his mum’s birthday, which is tomorrow..

This is what I came up with… I had been previously working on the material panel, so I used this up and adhered it to the front of the card..

Supplies List :-

  • Chipboard
  • White Acrylic Paint
  • Frayed Burlap Distress ink
  • Chipboard Heart
  • Clear Embossing Powder and Heat Gun
  • 15mm Foundation Roses from Wild Orchid Crafts
  • Light Pink Seam Binding from Wild Orchid Crafts
  • Purple Trim
  • 10mm Pink Rose Leaves

Thanks so much for dropping in ๐Ÿ™‚
