Shabby Chic Stick Pin Display’s

Hi everyone… Happy Monday to you all πŸ™‚ everyone happy to be back to work today?

Tonight up in my shed I needed to make something in order to display my stick pins…

I took a large polystyrene / styrofoam ball and cut it in half, placed a cardstock circle on the base and a layer of felt on top of the cardtock… then I took some more of the felt, some pink lace and some flower trim et voila! Β Instant shabby chic stick pin display units πŸ™‚

I made 2… one for ordinary pins and the other one for my flower pins..

and the ordinary decorative pins

and both together ..

I also made some more.. well 8 pink flower pins tonight, and share them tomorrow once they are completely dry πŸ™‚

Thanks so much for dropping by πŸ™‚

Beads, Charms, Stick Pins, Peg Flowers and Pizza Boxes

A bit of a random post, but, my weekend has been a bit random too…. I am working on a project at the moment and that combined with Card orders and work, really’s not leaving me with much time to make things and have a play around πŸ™‚ Β Oh and I also got another lightweight swap posted out at the weekend too.

I made these today, my first attempts at making little charms and stick pins… boy I can see this becoming addictive πŸ™‚

The one below is the first one I made

I made this little flower peg on saturday morning, out of a scrap of cardstock, a pearl and a wee peg

I made this on sunday morning, I watched a tutorial on youtube by Splitcoast Stampers for a 4″ x 4″ card box (pizza box stylie) I like it but I think my measurements for the belly band were out slightly as it was a bot loose πŸ™‚ will need to give this another try and see if I make a better job 2nd time around ..
