Hiya 🙂

I  had lots of  little bits of  leftover chipboard lying around today and thought i’d make something for my desk in the workshop, it is small at a mere 2″ x 2.5″ and I know i’ll need to scale down the pictures before popping them on, but this is a great way to use up your leftover bits n bobs & chipboard 🙂

I recorded a Ustream Video making this from start to finish, and it took me about an hour to make, this would make a great mothers day pressie 🙂

Materials List :-

  • 4 x pieces of leftover chipboard measuring 2.5″ x 2″
  • Prima Botanicals  Patterned Paper
  • Claudine Hellmuth Multi Medium Matte
  • Red Line Tape
  • Nestabilities Labels 8
  • Wild Orchid Crafts 10mm Foundation Roses

Take Me Away…

WOW!  I had thee best day ever yesterday!

Last night I took part in a live Ustream virtual crop with Your Paper Pantry, it was the most fun ever, and all the girls over there as just soooo nice, a special thankyou to Roxy for having me and a bigger special thankyou to Natasha for the nudge 😉

Earlier on that Day, I had stuck my Ustream channel on and was just doing a live feed from my workshop, I was pottering around, glittering hearts, mounting my unmounted stamps on cling mount, then Robyn (Injoystampin) and Melissa (Godsmixedmediagirl) & Tina Hales (YPP & Youtube) popped in thank you so much for keeping me company girls, sooo appreciated!

Then Tina disappeared and came back with all the lovely girls from YPP, forgive me if I miss your name out, but  the 2 i do remember were Nancy (thenikelnook), Christina (cabettsutubeuser).. I made the following card “Take Me Away”…

Supplies List :~

  • Light Blue Cardstock from Stampin Up
  • Glitz Design Love Nest Patterned Paper
  • Glitz Design Love Nest Cardstock Stickers
  • Seam Binding
  • German Glass Glittered Star
  • Kraft Cardstock
  • ATG Gun
  • Colorbox Cocoa Chalk Ink

Once this card was finished I asked the ladies watching if they had any requests for a card that they would like to see be made kinda “off the cuff” and I forget who requested a Mothers Day Card (might have been Robyn)… 😉 So here it is..

I used the Kaisercraft Devonshire 6″ x 6″ paper stack, which was great because not only does it have gorgeous papers, it also has some die cut sheets at the back, which provided the sentiment layera and a border strip 🙂

Supplies List :-

  • Kaisercraft Devonshire 6 x 6 paper Pack
  • Bazzill Craft Cardstock cut to make a card size 5″ x 5″
  • Seam Binding ~ Champagne
  • German Glass Glittered Star in Gold

Apoligies for the extra long post today… I had a lot to cram in and loads of people to thank 🙂

Sarah xoxo

On Ustream Tonight…..

On Ustream tonight I made the following bits and bobs, I feel a lot better about the upcoming live crop next weekend now that I have spent all day faffing around on Ustream 🙂

There was one guest viewing the channel, no idea who it was but it was nice to know someone was watching and keeping me company

First up, I cut out some stars, (I really need to get a star punch!) then covered them in gold glass glitter..

Then I made a little 4″ x 3″ sticker Thank You card and matching 1″ x 1″ gift tag … Ideal if you need to say thank you to a fireman for rescuing your cat!

I also made a matching tag, to go along with the card, ideal for attaching to a gift

Next up I made a 3″ x 3″ shabby chic Love You Card, it’s made from the same  leftover papers as the card above.

I used some of the lovely seam bindings that arrived today…

Then to finish the night off I made a “You’re the Cats Meow” Notepad

It’s been one really busy and productive day in the workshop… normal service to resume tomorrow lol 😉

I’ll be heading back up to my workshop tonight, I fancy doing something Shabby Chic Stylie 😉

All the cards I made measure 6″ x 4″ when folded

The Material basics used for each of the cards is as follows :~
