Valentine Shaker Card

Hi Everyone…

I have two cards to share with you tonight… a valentine shaker and a thank you card.

I used two stamp sets, for the valentine shaker card I used the Tim Holtz small talk set, which is really versatile, lots of different popular sayings in this set.. and for the thank you card I cracked open the the Many thank you’s set from Stampin Up again.

I Love us ~ Valentine Shaker Card

Hi Everyone…

Valentine Shaker Cards were on the go up in my wee shed tonight… it was a tad windy up there too! … we currently have Storm Henry blowing a hoolie!

I will at Stampers Grove on Saturday 6th February for a wee workshop making Valentine Shaker Cards, this card is just one of the designs we will be making on the day, if you fancy joining us, all the information is detailed below.

Hearts & Rabbits

Yesterday was a busy and productive day, I managed to record and 2 videos onto youtube, and get the blog post up for the Use it Up Mini Book.

Once I had cleared up the aftermath from that, I managed to have a chat with my friend Deb on Skype, and catch up with what we’ve both been up to…

After that I sat down and had a wee play around with sticky back canvas I bought when I ordered my gel medium last week, and also make a couple of valentines cards for my Etsy shoppe, seeing as I found my Making Memories valentine paper that I had lost 🙂

One’s a Wish… Two’s a Kiss…..

I made the following 2 cards yesterday, whilst chatting online with the girls on Stickam, and by the time I got down to the house, had my bath, sorted out my clothes for work today and downloaded photographs etc.. I just ran out of time 😉

So here are the cards… and they were all made with the UIU challenge in mind 😉 (Fran your a genius)!

I broke the sewing machine out yesterday too.. replaced the needle and stuck some new thread into it, and sorted out the tension 😉

Christmas is over and as we move into 2012 crafty minds will start to turn to valentines day, because when you think about it… it’s not that far away to start preparing for it and making cards!

MME Blog Card Challenge #20 ~ loving you more each day…

Something completely different for me tonight, I’ve entered a blog card challenge!

It is Challenge #20 over at  the My Minds Eye Blog.    I follow them on Twitter you see, that’s how I found out about it,  they posted a wee tweet about it last night and I really fancied trying it out….  This is the sketch…

You have to use at least 80% My Minds Eye Products  Here’s the finished card…

I used My Minds Eye Life Stories A Daily Dose Line by Jen Wilson

The flower is made up of 2 mulberry flowers with the petals twisted and adhered to each other with a thick chipboard circle centre with the edges roughed up and topped off with German Glass Glitter.

I also put some hand dyed/crinkled seam binding in too
